Becoming a detective: Searching for and identifying the gifted students in your school - (G&T Online Professional Learning Series)
This module is $65 per person and part of the Gifted and Talented Online Professional Learning Series. It can be completed as a stand-alone module or as part of the series. So many of our gifted students are hiding in classrooms, either underperforming, underachieving or opting out of schoolwork due to boredom, frustration or hidden disability. This online workshop will explore how to identify gifted students in your school using characteristics, available data and off-level testing. The aims of this workshop are:·
To better understand the data you are currently collecting·
To improve your capacity to identify gifted students through their behaviours and characteristics; and·
To learn more about alternative assessment options, including off-level testing
This online module is $65 per person (To register 5 or more people at a discounted rate, please email admin@growingupgreatness.com). After you confirm your purchase, you will receive an email with a link to download information to access the module.
This module is approximately 2 hours in length (including video content, workbook, discussion webinar and additional resources). The webinar for this online module is held approximately once per term at either 9.30am or 3:30 (AWST). Register and sign-in online to see alternate date options. Attendance at the webinar is not compulsory and you can complete alternative options whenever you choose, in order to receive a certificate of completion.
