This one day course is appropriate for primary and secondary teachers, coordinators, pastoral care providers, chaplains, counsellors, psychologists and school leaders who want a comprehensive understanding of the social and emotional needs of gifted and talented students.  This one day course will explore the social and emotional characteristics and needs of gifted and talented students as well as underachievement and strategies to identify and manage this.  This is a stand-alone one-day course, and participants will join others who are completing this as Day 2 of a three-day comprehensive gifted and talented education course.
